okay is flooded with fake Mseries and 1000hd geing mostly from China. Recently at lot of sellers in USAare also selling fake Monster Cables. Buyers should be extra careful when the buy it now price is between 20-25 dollars or shippedin so called "oem package" without the box. Some replicas are so good now days it even gees with the box, but if looked carefully by geparing it with a REAL Monster box, you can tell the fake cable packing is very blurry.
Also note on the older versions of Monster HDMI cables the gold tips are welded together with 4 spot welds. (two on the top and two on the bottom split between the middle line.) The new Monster HDMI cables so far is impossible to tell if they are real or fake.
These fake cables are only manufactured on Mseries and their 1000hd cables. Any lower end Monster cables do not have this problem.
