For all of you hybrid haters who use faulty logic to try and mislead people that bying a hybrid is not economicaly wise, this is for you.
You've argued that the small saving from gas consumption with a hybrid doesn't add up to the higher cost of bying a hybrid in the long run.
Yes a hybrid costs more to buy than a non hybrid equivelent, but when you go to sell it in say 3 or 5 years it's still more valuable than the non hybrid equivalent.
Just look at the values of used Priuses. No other car has a better resale value than a Prius. In some cases a 1 or 2 year old Prius sells for the same or more than what it was purchased for. What non hybrid can claim that?
You just never seem to factor either resale value or the tax credit given by the government when you do your math.
