Rice Paddy -- Worse than I thought!

My original entry:
I've dealt with Rice Paddy several times, on and off okay, in my 15 year career in the motorcycle industry (including being an AMA race mechanic, author of a technical book on fuel injection from Motorbooks, and working countless dealerships, Emgo, and Aprilia.Every time, they have been great to deal with, on top of gemunication, and the parts always show up as specified by RP. I've never had a single problem with them of any sort. I can't explain the experience of the one nay-sayer claiming fraud, but I can tell you that this is certainly an exception for Rice Paddy rather than the rule.
Since then, I've had a nearly year-long saga involving the Attorney General trying to get Rice Paddy to refund roughly $30 they were given last November for t-shirts they never sent. They have repeatedly denied they got any money, despite the PayPal receipts; they then claimed that my PayPal account would not accept the refund (untrue). Right now it looks like it's going to court.
So you roll the dice when you buy from Rice Paddy. If you can afford to lose whatever you spent on a purchase from them, you might get decent service and a good deal. If you expect to get what you paid for, there's a decent chance you'll get hung out to dry and ripped off. Caveat Emptor.
