tips for configuring your wireless router
when configuring your wireless router remember to apply the proper configuration settings to protect your system from intruders. always change the ssid name to something different. also change your router login password to something other than the default "admin". also disable universal plug and play in the configuration settings, this will also help to prevent any unauthorized entry to your router configuration settings. and finally, if you want your network to be invisable to the outside world you can turn off broadcast messanging. tips brought to you fron Ron Dukes of Just geputers
