Maybe cheaper in the future since the economy is still pretty tight and the newness wears off.
Spare Body Shells
This is a regularproduction 1-6th scale Nascar Rc car, new replacementbody shells are going to be easy to order. These can be purchasedat the time of this posting. They should run about 36.00-49.00 plus shipping thru Teamup International. TheseDO include the rear wings and screws. The C.O.T. version has a"color specific C.O.T. noses and rear bumpers" for either car available also. These are pretty easy to change out. These "color specific C.O.T. noses and rear bumpers" run about8.00a pair.If it were me and I couldn't wait to "race" mine around the neighborhood, Id be sure to have at least ONE or two spare body shells and "color specific C.O.T. noses and rear bumpers"for that new look while its on the shelf waiting for the "next race". If you need a copy of the parts order form, just drop me a note I can send you a copy via email.
Spare Parts / back of the box
Notice on the back of the box, it may seem to have spare parts. This ad is for re-ordering information only. This ad on the lower right hand side of the back of the boxes showing 6 extra frequency chips, suspension parts and spare tires. They DO NOT HAVE ALL 6 frequency chipsin the box. There is NO SPARE sets of tires in the box either. There are NO spare suspension parts in the box either, again these can be purchased seperately. Just a specific set of tires that are alreadyon the carand 2 frequency chipsfor the car, a transmitter chip and receiver chip. (see next picture down below on theright hand side near the transmitter it still in the box)

Special Builds
"Special Builds" refers to it being specifically designed to be a special promotion or only thru a special retailer, instead of a major retailer such as Kmart, Walmart, Target etc. Still these are Hobby Grades but need to be seperate from the major retailers list. Rare?I dont think they are. Hard to find? yea....but again these are pretty gemon on okay. If you are looking for one, be patient, they do show up on okay from time to time, most of the time with NO RESERVE.

#98 Paul Menards"Menards Racing" YMS
"Hobby Grade"or "Added Features" or "Updated Features-Version" are the same thing.
Which in a nutshell means your "Hobby Grade"or "Added Features" or "Updated Features-Version" will operate like the real race car with variable speeds and digital proportional steering or variable steering. Then the interchangeable frequencies so you can own identical cars and with the "frequency pack" race them (up to7 cars) at the same time. With tiny bit of practice you can run very well with other cars.
Base Version refers to the first editions (2 different styles ofBase versions)of Rc cars that Team Up International produced. They DO NOT turn gradually like the real race car. Either FULL RIGHTor FULL LEFT. The Speed control is either FULL SPEED forward or reverse. You can run only Two cars at the same time taking note the two frequencies 27 mghz and 49 mghz of DIFFERENT drivers cars. Not very easy to control. If it DOES NOT SAY "Hobby Grade" or "Added Features" or "Updated Features-Version" ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX, then its Base Version.
History on the resale
History on the resale of the entire line1-6th scale Hobby Grade Nascar Rc cars as far as value has really surprised me. It is not as good as I thought it would be even 5 years into the run of this line of 1-6th scale Nascar Rc cars.I really thought the entire line of them would be as popular as Hotwheels, Barbies, Elvis etc... Maybe in the future they will be. I have seen some of these Buy It Nows at 200.00 plus with no free shipping and even higher, 250.00 and up to 1000.00. To each their own, we all know what OUR OWN collection should be worth right? Yea, but it always gees back to what the market dictates. If you do list them at higher prices, Good Luck!!, and get it, GREAT. But I have seen the same cars, same sellers, re-re-re-relist them several times and either do not sell or they sell CHEAP. Ihave seen3 Brian Vickers auctions end at 8.00, and up to 12.49 plus shipping. Regular retail versions sold for 99.00 and 149.00 a few years ago when first released. These Brian Vickers were hard to get in the first place in which you won them froma drawing ONLY and I was stunned to see them so cheap. Then right after that 2 sold for 89.99 Buy It Now. Go figure eh? The Michael Waltrip #55 Napa Auto Parts was a drawing promotion also but myself and many others were able to outright buy them as well. My personal opinion is that if you find ANY of these Nascar Rc cars Newin the Boxat or below 85.00-99.00 eachWITH free shipping....JUMP ON IT. Shipping on these is about 19.99 (if you have a UPS account, 52.00 Plus if you DO NOT have a UPS account) and 32.00 to 38.00 USPS and 47.00 Fed Ex ( without a Fed Ex account )
To calculate your shipping costs here is the actual box dimensions: 42 inches long, 15 incheshigh, 13.5 inches deep. This gees out to 99 inches overall...JUST UNDER the USPS regulations of LENGTH GIRTH at 108 inches maximum.
Thisis determined by adding: 42 inches length, circumference of 15 inches high, 13.5 inches deep and 15incheshigh, 13.5 inches deep.
These weight between 16 lbs 9 oz. and up to 18 lbs 12 oz. depending upon which model you are shipping. All weights are rounded UP for shipping costs. So it would be 17 lbs and then 19 lbs respectfully.
Please vote positive !!
I hope you enjoyed this review on this Jeff Gordon # 24 Dupont "Nicorette" C.O.T.1-6th scale Hobby Grade Nascar Rc car.
