Gamer Mom Picks a Life Jacket PFD

Like my kayak buying guide, if you have any knowledge at all, this will be too simple for you. I will set out the mistakes I made when purchasing my first life jacket, so any gepletely clueless shoppers can avoid them.

FIRST-Don't buy a cheap one at a discount store if you plan to spend more than 30 minutes on the water! They chafe and rub in ungefortable spots. Go to a reputable dealer who can help fit you properly. Then find the same thing on okay a lot cheaper!

SECOND-It should not rise up around your shoulders to a ridulous level if some pressure is applied. Try pushing upwards on the bottom of the jacket to see how far it rises towards your face.

THIRD-Look for the cut out panels on the bottom of the back of the jacket. It makes leaning against the contoured back of the kayak much more gefortable.

If you don't already know, PFD stands for personal flotation device!

Happy Shopping!
