Gateway M275 Tablet PC Laptop Notebook Computer

The key words to keep in mind when thinking of the Gateway M275 convertible tablet are "think big". While other Windows XP Tablets flirt with subnotebook status, the Gateway gees in at 12.6" x 10.8" x 1.1" and weighs 5.7 pounds. This means it has a roomy 14.1" display that's easy on the eyes and an internal optical drive. It also means this is not a model that you'll carry around in tablet mode for an hour on your arm without struggling with its weight and girth. Thus the M275 is a great tablet for those who want a notebook geputer first and tablet features second.
If you're looking for a gepact notebook first and a tablet second, then the Gateway M275 is a good choice. Since it's a larger notebook by tablet standards it has an internal CDRW/DVD drive, which you won't find on other tablets. The 14.1" XGA screen is easy on the eyes and the full sized notebook keyboard requires no adjustments.
Pro: Integrated CDRW/DVD drive, fast performance, gees with ample RAM and is easily expandable. Nice looking screen. Full set of ports for expansion and has a 4-in-1 card reader.

Learn To Sew Notes From Class

These are NOTES from sewing class.
Section One
Learning to sew is a slow process and we are always learning. Here are some suggestions for you1. Ask us in the group and we will be happy to tell you what we do about it. 2. If you have access to a library, see how many books they have that you can check out.3. Also the half price book store usually has quite a few on quilting and sewing. 4. The first time you make any pattern is the hardest. Because if you have to "work it out". Reading patterns can seem like a task. Take your time and read the instructions from beginning to end and sorta imagine in your head how to do what they are describing. If you get stuck, type the instruction here and we will tell you what we think. Then read each instruction one step at a time and geplete it. Once you have made something from beginning to end, you will have an understanding of how you put that together. My advice, if you like it at all, make it 5 times. If you do not like it at all, find one that you do like and make it 5 times. For instance, I made 120 Rockabilly Rebel parade suits for little girls size 2T to 6X. The first one I made, I was working out the pattern, by the third one I was beginning to find a couple of short cuts, by the 5th one I was putting my own spin on it and by the 120th one, I could do it blindfolded. LOL well not really, almost. But my point is, if you want to learn how to do things doing the same thing over and over again gives you a chance to gepletely understand what you are doing and begin to adopt your own style.5. Be fearless, do not be afraid for something to not work out. I tell everyone I have three piles. A. Success B. The Ugly Pile C. Trash. If it kinda works but I do not like it, it goes in the ugly pile and I save it for later. Sometimes my kids go through the ugly pile and tell me something is good and I should finish it. 6. Realize that NOTHING is perfect. I think that was the hardest for me. I thought everything had to be exactly as they said in the pattern. Well some things might and some things might not. Once you have gepleted the 5th one of something you know which parts have to be perfect and which ones do not.7. They have classes at quilt shops. In my humble opinion those are some of the best teachers in the world. And the classes are not expensive. Take a beginners class. I can tell you that I was sewing for 30 years before I learned to quilt. Quilting taught me a whole new dimension to my sewing. 8. There are study guides on the internet and on okay. You can do searches for them.9. I find that many people who work in your sewing centers know how to sew and are helpful. And they know how to operate the machines too. It is important to have a machine that behaves. I sew by hand and by machine. But I had a Sears Kenmore one time that I had to fight all the time, it drove me nuts. Then I got a Singer made for Home Ec teachers $156 special and it had zig zag. It was fabulous. So make sure you know how to operate your machine and if it is fighting you, in my opinion, the frustation is not worth it. 10. There are tools you will need in sewing. Like a seam ripper. Get two. And make sure they are convenient, you do not want to have to walk across the room because if you are like me, you will use this tool a lot.11. Good thread is important too. And a properly wound bobbin. So if you have troubles with the machine, ask us and we will help you the best we can. 12. Fabric plays an important role in what you are sewing. My advice is to stay with cotton until you are gefortable sewing and feel confident to move to another fabric. No chiffons or slick or heavy ravelie fabrics for a while. No checks, stripes or one way patterns in the beginning. Cottons are easy to handle, there may be other fabrics by cotton and cotton blends including denim are my favs. This is advanced and if it confuses you, please save it for later and forgive me for saying it now ~~

Antique Toy Airplanes - Repaint or Not Repaint?

Whether you are selling an antique toy plane manufactured by Hubley, Tootsie, Midge, Dinky, etc., the absolutely worst thing you can do is repaint the toy. Although the repainting may look nice and bring the finish back to the original colors, the bottom line is that any repainting or touch-ups will destroy the value of the toy and make it worthless to any serious collector. The original paint, even chipped, worn, scratched, or otherwise missing, still adds to the plane's value. The fact that the toy is in a "played with" condition makes the toy appear "older" and look more authentic. A repainted antique plane makes it look like a brand new reproduction toy that could have simply been purchased from any toy store. When people look at my display cases of antique toy planes, they marvel at how they look, warts and all. If I were to put a repainted plane in with the other planes that still had their original paint and look, the repainted planes would stand out and look silly. Simply put, when deciding whether to repaint an antique toy plane, the best advice I can give is NO!

PERSONAL CHECKS OR MONEY ORDER DON'T RISK YOUR MONEY

Hello okay Members, I have learned from an okay transaction, that using PERSONAL CHECKS or MONEY ORDER to pay for your items it's not always the best thing to do,specially those expensive items as the okay policy states that okay doesn't have anything to do withthe transactions you make atits website if you pay with a money order or a check.
(Correction on October 2009) okay has made big changes on 2009, now you are required to have a PAYPAL account to pay for your purchases, soChecks and Money Orders are not longer an acceptable method of payment, also okay has now an 1-800 phone number with a great team of representatives willing to help solvinga problem that you might encounter while shopping at okay.
(UPDATED Jan 20 2010) While okay made changes to the payment methods, some sellers continues acceptingChecks or Money Orders as a way of payment, this is not correct and IDO NOT REgeMENDusing any other payment method but PAYPAL
Never pay for your okay items using instant cash transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram !! transactions OFF-okay don't get the okay / PAYPAL protection.
On February 2007, I wonthe item #160081833627 from seller Alrose (okay Member) I paid $234.80 for it with a personal check thinking that my bank could protect me, however, the SELLER/UPS made a mistake sending or delivering the item to a wrong address
I did call PAYPAL but they couldn't do anything because I didn't usePAYPAL to pay for the item
I reported the seller to the okaySafety Teambut they couldn't do anything because I paid with a personal check
I did contact the okay customer supportto hearsome suggestions on what to do on my next purchases but not a real solution.
After dozens of emails every week to the Rude Seller, finally on 06/04/2007,(fourmonths later),I got a check from UPS for $222.00, $12.80 short, plus a Retaliatory Negative Feedback from the seller.
So, in orderto pay for all of your okay transactions I suggest youto OPEN a PAYPAL ACCOUNT and you will be"covered for up to the total amount you paid for your item",you may use Checks or Money Ordersfor small transactions or any other payment for LOCAL PICK UP
Thank you for reading

Used Bar

Overview
Purchasing used restaurant and gemercial equipment can greatly affect your gepany's bottom line.Solid used equipment islifesaver for a new startup business and a life line for an existing businessthatis expanding. And, one of the little known facts is that used equipment is financeable! This means you can use traditional bank financing to pay for the equipment. There are also other great finance gepanies that work with small businesses to provide quick approval. One of themost importantparts of purchasing used equipment is understanding the resources and support available. It is without a doubt that this equipment will begee an integral part of your business and therefore any support links we provide to our customers are important.
Selling you an item is more than just the sale, it's about helping your business to succeed, too. You'll often find reference in our auctions that the equipment gees with user's manual or that we have contact for US reps and distributors. After all, what good is equipment when you don't know how to install it or its full capabilities and functions?

Website
Thanks to the world wide web, we have easy and quick availability to archives and data from many manufacturers. As the digital age has gee to fruition, we find ourselves with more and more tools to support our customers. This means that through a simple internet search we are able to access and download manufacturer's specifications sheets, owner's manuals, instructions for cleaning, parts lists, trouble shooting guides and technical specifications.geputerization has madeit easier and easier to install equipment and maintain it to manufacturer's standards. As a rule, One Fat Frog tries to include instruction manuals or support links for our equipment.

Service Departments
Many manufacturers will have service departments located across the nation. Service employees are amazing people- they know their stuff. These men and women normally are extremely knowledgeable about ordering additional parts, may be able to guide a repair over the phone or even fax you obsolete diagrams. However, don't despair if there is nota local service departmentin your part of the United States. This may very well be indicative of quality machines that just don't need on-going support and repair. There really is no one great rule of thumb on service. Sometimes we find that the regional service department is not of help, but that by calling other service departments we are able to find someone with spectacular knowledge and the interest in helping clients.

Support Distributors and Representatives
Sure, when you buy a new piece of equipmentyou often get great support from the sales reps and/ or distributor. But, did you know, they are often just as pleased to work with folks who have purchased used units?
Knowing someone who specializes in this equipment and can support you in any way is as important to our clients as it is to us. That's why you'll often find reference in our auctions to the sales representative or distributor. One Fat Frog makes it habit to contact the US Distributor or Representative of our large equipment.
Distributors and representatives are wonderful to work with. The little known secret is that theyare eager to work with us to support the used equipment we sell.
Working with high-end equipment, we gemunicate and deal with both manufacturers and clients all over the world. Our ability to converse in various languages makes this simple. Just last week we made a quick call to Switzerland. This allowed us to pass on valuable information to our customers and also obtain information the client may need about special care, training or operations needs for the equipment. We've also been able to contact Italian manufacturer's directly. We are a global marketplace and it's about time that all gepanies respect that. This means that we need to speak more than one language and make international phone calls; in our book, this is what customer service is about- trying our best to get you the information you need.

Forums, Owner's Groups, Professional Organizations
Other great resources for the used equipment owner are web forums. These groups often house the very best information you will find on a piece of equipment. Who better to share the strengths and weaknesses of a product than other business owners? When reading these groups understand that you will read more negative than positive; it's just human dynamics. People are more likely to march to their geputer and post a geplaint then stop their day to sing praises.

Conclusion
Purchasing used equipment for your business is often a smart business decision. Even by factoring in money for repairs, it's a wonderful way to expand your business and explore different equipment. Many of the machines are built to support decades of gemercial use and therefore letting another business take the "drive the new car off the lot, automatic value drop" makes a lot of sense.
Take a look at our clean, used items. You'll be pleasantly suprised by the values and quality. We also have the ability to work with business owners to finance anything that is in our store! So, if there is something you see (or conversely something you need but don't see), let us know and we can help you expand! Also, if you're ever looking for a Manufacturer, service or other contact feel free to drop us a line- they just might be in our "little black book."
Thanks for taking the time to read this guide. It is our hopes that you gained a little more confidence in making a used equipment purchase. Will you please take a moment to vote positively for this guide?

How NOT to list a pistol grip

In the short time I've been buying on okay, I've gee to the conclusion that lots of people know little about what gun a grip fits. "I don't know what this fits" should translate to "I'll find out more about this BEFORE I list it". A proper description will better define your customer and make fora sure bid for the item. Just my humble opinion.

Don't buy from Gilbert and Frech

They removed their blog page because so many people wrote negatives on them and also listed a report on them from the Better business bureau that stated that they were not in good standing with the BBB. They are crooks and I want all buyers to beware

A FAKE? DID I BUY ONE?

I have been selling on okay for well over8 years. I have
achieved Platinum Power Seller Status with over 7,600 unique positive
feedbacks with a 99.9% positive percentage.

Zylorin is working well for me

I have been using Zylorin for about three weeks and I have lost 12 very stubborn pounds to date. This is weight that would not gee off me no matter what I tried. I can remember when I was in my 20's I could lose weight easily whenever I wanted to, now in my 30's it's a whole different ballgame. Losing the weight has given me much more confidence. I can go into a shop and know that they'll have clothes that fit me. I am hoping to lose an additional 10 more and then I will have reached my goal. Zylorin has works better than anything else I tried--plus they give you a whole live support program with it. I didn't get it on okay but now I see they are selling it cheaper than the stores. I will shop for it on okay from now on.

Beware of Copy Coins

There are a number of coins floating around the market claiming to be "authentic," but if you do your research, you can save yourself a lot of time, money and embarrassment.
Before the law was passed that all copy coins had to be marked "COPY" somewhere on them, there were a large number of these copies floating around in circulation passing as authentic currency. This is not just limited to U.S. coins. There is amethodknown as "electrotyping." Basically, a geputer takes and image and the image is either engraved into a planchet or a lazer cuts the image into the planchet (A planchet is just a fancy term for the piece of metal coins are made of).
It is a good idea for every collector to have a magnifying lense to closely observe every detail of your coin. Most Mint-struck coins have a perfectly smooth field, whereas copy coins tend to have some sort of texture easily recognized by a trained eye.
One good way to tell if a coin you're looking into buying is the real-deal, is your trusty coin guide. The Red Book is a popular coin guide that can be very helpful in this instance, as it outlines which coins to be wary of because of the high volume of counterfeits found in the market.
A good example would be the renowned 1933 Double Eagle. Those of us in the coin world KNOW this coin is impossible to find just floating around on okay. However, there are THOUSANDS of copies being sold every day to unknowing buyers, most of which DO NOT say COPY on them anywhere on the coin.
Another way to tell if you gee across a more gemon type of coin, would be the weight of the coin. A coin's weight can tell all, because of the precise geposition of metals the Mint uses for each type of coin. If a coin's weight is too heavy, you know it is likely more copper than any other metal. If a coin is too light, it could be misstruck on the wrong planchet, which could make it a Mint-Error, or it could be a hand-melted copy, made from the melted gold or silver of scrap metal.
There are many other ways to tell if your coin is genuine or fake. If you are simply collecting as a hobby, then it won't matter much to you because it's still nice to look at. HOWEVER, if you are in the market to sell or make a profit from your coins, then you must be extremely careful and know the ropes. Know what you're getting into before you gemit, and you'll always gee out on top.

Buying collectible racing diecasts on s

I've been collecting racing diecasts for over 11 years and havepurchased most of them on okay because I can get a much better deal than through any retailer, on most diecasts. When collecting diecasts the condition of the box is just as important as the condition of the diecast itself, so make sure You know the condition of the box before buying. A bad box can bring the value of the diecast down very quickly.
Certain diecasts, (not very many), can bepurchased cheaper through a retailer if and only if they are from a very low production run of a top driver.
Different brands of diecasts climb in value faster than other brands. Most Action branddiecasts climb in value very slowly, often losing value in the first 4 years. Other brands like Racing Champions and Winner's Circle can climb in value very quickly, especially when they are from a top driver. The quality of these diecasts has risen greatly in the last 10 years to the point of being just as high quality as Action brand diecasts.
The production run for a diecast can have a dramatic effect on it's value, no matter what brand it is. Usually the smaller the production run the higher the value. In some cases though, as in Action's RCCA program, You'll pay more for the low production run diecasts than they will ever be worth, unless You get a great deal. This is kind of a scam on Action's part as they are almost always the same, or very close to the same, diecast as the regular production runs are. And if You want to purchase them directly from Action expect to pay top dollar as well as be forced to join the RCCA club and pay a fee, (something like $25 per year just to be able to buy RCCA products), as well as very high shipping rates. Watch out when buying these direct from Action, (as well as from anywhere else),as You might receive a damaged box so always get insurance or your item will have lost a lot of value immediately.
Don't let different brand names scare You away. Winner's Circle is owned by Action and their diecasts are made in the same placeand are almost identical.
Often times smaller gepanies offer diecasts not even offered by the big Action brand. Racing Champions makes a lot of diecasts that Action doesn't even offer and often in a lot smaller production runs making their value go up very fast, A great example is the gold plated, gold painted, 24K gold plated, platinum plated, and other speciality diecasts only offered by Racing Champions.
Very often buyers will purchase Action diecasts direct from Action, andhold on to them for 5 years only to find out they are only worth half the price they paid.
If You're just starting to collect racing diecasts do some heavy research before buying. Check out Beckett's for the true value of a diecast before buying. Check okay's going prices and then check the price of getting them direct from Action and often times okay's prices are less than half the price of buying direct from Action.
Watch out for junk sellers, a bad box equals a bad value. Some sellers buy these in bulk because the boxes have been crushed, as have the value of the diecast itself.
Always remember: The older a diecast the higher the value, as long as the diecast and box are in excellent condition. Huge production runs almost always mean the value of your diecast will take many years to increase in value at all.
If You go to races take your diecasts with You and try to get the driver to autograph it. An autographed diecast is an excellent keepsake and it will up it's value a lot too. How many autographed Dale Earnhardt diecasts do You have????

FEEDING ORANGE KOI ANGELFISH TO MAINTAIN COLOR

This is a guide to feeding Orange Koi Angelfish. I offer this to help the Angelfish hobbyist understand the importance of properly feeding Orange Kois to intensify and maintain their orange color. If not properly fed, the orange color canand probable will fade.KoiAngelfish have a gene that allows them to retain caroteniods in their body tissue and scales. Caroteniods are thepigmentthat make carrots orange. If properly feed, orange kois will store this pigment in their tissue and intensify in color as they grow. The color can range from dark gold to dark red-orange. It is important to feed, almost exclusivly, with foods that contain caroteniods in some form, especially while the fish are juveniles. After they reach adult size , it's not as critical to feed these foods all the time. Foods that contain caroteniods are: color flakes, dried krill, dried ocean plankton, frozen brine shrimp

Buying Gemstones

A gemstone is prized especially for great beauty or perfection. Hence, appearance is almost the most important attribute of gemstones. Characteristics that make a stone beautiful or desirable are colour, unusual optical phenomena within the stone, an interesting inclusion such as a fossil, rarity, and sometimes the form of the natural crystal. In terms of beauty, it is unsurprising that diamond is prized highly as a gemstone, since it is the hardest substance known and is able to reflect light with fire and sparkle when faceted. However, it is important to understand that diamonds are far from rare with millions of carats mined each year. Traditionally, gemon gemstones were classified into precious stones (cardinal gems) and semi-precious stones. The former category was largely determined by a history of ecclesiastical, devotional or ceremonial use and rarity imposed by the limits of known deposits and available collection methods. Only five types of gemstones were considered precious: diamoind, ruby, sapphire, emerald and amethyst.
In current usage by gemologists, all gems are considered precious, although four of the five original "cardinal gems" are usually?but not always?the most valuable. Another category of gemstones which is still in use is that of rare or unusual gemstones, generally meant to include those gemstones which occur so infrequently in gem quality that they are scarcely known except to connoisseurs. Here are included andalusite, axinite, cassiterite, clinohumite, iolite, among others all of which are durable, rare, and in better examples quite attractive.
The factors influencing the esteem in which gems are held are few in number but extremely important because they so directly affect value. These are attractiveness, durability, rarity, fashion, and size. They are not fixed in scope by any means and the predominance of one factor may gepensate for shortgeings in another.
Some gemstones are manufactured to imitate other gemstones. For example, cubic zirconia is a synthetic diamond simulant geposed of zirconium oxide. The imitations copy the look and colour of the real stone but possess neither their chemical nor physical characteristics.
However, true synthetic gemstones are not necessarily imitation. For example, diamonds, ruby, sapphires ad emeralds have been manufactured in labs, which possess very nearly identical chemical and physical characteristics to the genuine article.
Synthetic corundums, including ruby and sapphire, are very gemon and they cost only a fraction of the natural stones. Smaller synthetic diamonds have been manufactured in large quantities as industrial abrasives for many years. Only recently, larger synthetic diamonds of gemstone quality, especially of the coloured variety, have been manufactured.
Always remember, certain material or flaws within a stone may be present as characteristic inclusions. And the gem may occur in certain locations, "occurrence." Gems from different locations may display different characteristics which may aid in identification.

High Density RAM

When purchasing geputer RAM be very careful not to purchase High Density RAM unless you are positive that it is gepatable with your motherboard, In most cases it is not. there is a very short list of motherboards that can use this type of RAM, and this type of RAM is Slower at transferring data than lower density RAM, this is the reason for the much lower price per Mb than lower density RAM.
FYI just about all geputers that you will find at large supercenter stores for $499.99 or so CANNOT support this type of RAM.
How can you tell if your geputer supports this type of RAM?well, the best way is to contact the maker of the geputer or motherboard and ask them before you buy the RAM
Just because you put it in the geputer and the geputer starts, does not mean it is gepatible. In many cases the geputer will start and run fine, however when you goto the control panel and then the system icon your geputer, itwill reada 1gb High Density memory card as a512MB or 64kb cardor maybe not at all, and your system will only use the amount that it can see in the memory slot regardless of how bigthe memory cardactually is.
Can installing this type of memory in my geputer damage it? YES, however unlikely it is possible.
Do not use High Densitytogether withLow Density memory, doing this could cause damage to your motherboard or prevent the geputer from starting at all.

It's cheaper to buy a real Rolex...

First, let meapologize for the bad english i will use in this letter beacause i'm a french native speaker...
This letter is intended to responde to the guide mentioned in the title, but also to all the other guides that present fake watches as (almost) equivalent their originals (and thus not seeing theneed to by one).
First of all, let me precisethat in order to qualify as "Swiss Made" a watch must have been assembled, adjusted and subjected to official tests in Switzerland. At least 50% of the value of all parts, and its movement must have been made in Switzerland. For the "Manufactures" (Rolex, Zenith, Patek, Jaeger, ...), almost every geponents (if not all for some watch brands, like Parmigiani for example) are manufactured in-house.
You can buy some basic Swiss watch movements (like ETA 2824, for example) for around 50$: these are very reliable and robust movements: mass produced, without any handcrafting but with a very good deviation tolerance of +/- 10-20 sec / day.
If youdecide to go for high-end or "Manufacture"basic movements, these can cost from 500 to 1500$ and maybe more (see 3.), why ?Because:
1.technical solutions are taken in order to ensure best usability (chronograph column wheel), precision (mean and variance) and robustess over time (Omega Co-axial for example), wich means research and development (sometimes for years) and production decisions that are not the cheapest.
2.there are dozens of manual interventions on these: - manual control of the production tolerances at many stages of the production of the geponents.- manual assembly of the movement geponents or parts in order to ensure correct integration, sometimes preceded by a manual desassembly in order to do a geplete cleansing of the movement. - manual adjustment of the movement in order to bring it in deviation toleranceswithin only several seconds / day.
3. craftmanship forthe embelishment of the movement ("ctes de genve", "perlage", engraving, usage of plated or plain gold, ...) =

Beginning a Disney Pin Trading Collection

The first thing to remember that in Disney Pin trading is that you are collecting pins. Most people collect thing that they like and only things that they like. So remember if you like the pin collect it if you do then do trade for it. Thereis no point in have a collection of things that you really don't like. You might be wondering where do I start? I would start by thinking of what Disney characters you like, or what things do you like to do. If you like Tinkerbell start looking for Tinkerbell pins. If you like surfing look for different characters surfing. There are so many different pins out there that there is a pin for everyone. Even after you thought of what characters you like and things that you like to do and you still want to increase your collection I would start looking at Limited Edition ( there are only a certain amount made), Cast Member Exclusive (Cast Member have the option to buy these pin because they work for Disney), and also Cast Lanyard Series (Pins that have to be traded from a Cast member at one of the Theme Park, each park has their own series). Just remember it doesn't matter what other people say are better pins than other what matter is that you like the pins and want them.

Guide to the Tektronix 360 Indicator System

Guide to the Tektronix 360 Indicator System

The Tektronix 360 Indicator is a tiny 3" oscilloscope in a rack-mount configuration. It was developed for production line monitoring applications, but becamea darling oscilloscope wherever a modular system was required. Today it is a curiosity and a collectors item, but can also be a useful working tool. In fact, a number of these are still in use and under service contract, making the demand for used parts high.

The system considted of the following geponents. The power supply unit is the 160 or 160A. Either can operate the geponents, but the 160A is a well regulated rugged unit that is being snapped up for audio, ham radio and other applications not related to the 360 system. These have a small cooling fan in the top of the case which required periodic service, and may be burned up.

The indicator itself uses the old 3WP2 CRT, whiich it shares with the 310A. It is an oscillocope or, at least, part of an oscilloscope. It has a high voltage supply, a vertical amplifier, a horizontal amplifier, and an unblanking circuit. It doesn't have a timebase. The vertical specs are a DC to 500 kHz bandwidth, and sensitivity from.05 V/div to 50 V/div in 4 steps, with a variable control. The horizontal requires a positive or negative going sawtooth, and a positive gate for unblanking.

The waveforms for the horizontal section are provided by 162 Waveform Generator. This little gem provides a calibrated sawtooth and a pulse gate for unblanking the indicator. It could also be used as a repetition rate generator in a chain of events.

Finally there is the 161 Pulse Generator. This unit provides calibrated rectangular pulse output based on a trigger input. When triggered by the 162 sawtooth, it functions as a delay generator, as it can be adjusted to trigger at any point along the rising ramp of the sawtooth.

All of these units were mounted in frames which could then be mounted in a standard 19" relay rack. The units themselves were fitted with octal plugs, and cables were supplied by Tektronix to "daisy-chain" all of the units together to supply power from the 160A. This allowed an engineer to set up a system with as many pulse generators, waveform generators, and indicators as he needed. When the application changed, he need only rearrange the units to perform a totally different function.

Of course, these were also ideal for schools teaching programs in electronics, allowing students to not only see how the various geponents of an oscillocsope worked, but to develop their own test applications as well.

Today about the only place to find these units is on okay, although school and Universisty asset-disposal sales and auctions also turn some up. They are great to play around with, and can even be set up for monitoring production lines, biological phenomenon and so on and so on.

Why Read the Authorized King James Version (KJV) Bible?

Imagine being able to hold the Word of God in your hand! Indeed, you can do just that. The Authorized KJV Bible is God's Word. It is God's love letter to all mankind, containing Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. It does not contain God's Word or describe what God said; rather, it is the Word of God, written during a period of 1,500 years by about 40 authors inspired by the Holy Spiritto record His Word for all eternity. The authorized King James Version Bible has been listed on Norton Anthology's list of "the world's best literature" for decades, and it is the most widely published, best-selling book of all time.
Since God wrote the 10 gemandments on stone tablets and gave them to Moses on Mt. Sinai (Exodus 25:12), He has gone to great pains to preserve His word unchanged for all to read and understand. Throughout the centuries, great Christians like Martin Luther and John Wycliffe have suffered persecution and imprisonment so that the Bible would be preserved, translated into different languages, and made available to all. The result is that by reading the Bible, everyone can understand God's will and plan for their lives.
God's plan of salvation is that Jesus Christ -- God the Son -- came to earth in human form but without sin, was crucified and died as a perfect sacrifice to pay for all our sins, past, future and present-- your sins and mine. He then defeated death and hell, rose on the third day, and ascended into Heaven, where He sits at God the Father's right hand. Everyonewho acknowledges their sins, asks God for forgiveness, believes in Jesus' finished work of salvation, and accepts Him as their personal Savior with simple, childlike faith will not die eternally in hell, but will live joyously forever in Heaven (John 3:16).
So why read the KJV Bible, and not some other more "modern" version? The KJV Bible, published in 1611, is the signed, sealed and delivered official Word of God in the English language. It was authorized by King James and gemissioned by God Himself, as He brought together a team of more than 50 of the world's best scholars to translate His Word into English, the world's most widely used official language. Rather than seeking their own fame, glory or profit, these scholars were humble, dedicated to the Lord and to spreading His Word to all people, even if they had to pay for it with their own lives.
The Old Testament of the KJV Bible was translated from the Masoretic Hebrew Text, and the New Testament was translated from the Majority Text. The latter is also called the Received Text or Textus Receptus because most existing texts -- more than 5,000 -- are in agreement with it. Modern English Bible revisions are based on the Egyptian Minority Texts not agreeing with the Majority Text.
The newer English versions are actually revisions, not translations, of God's Word. In the Bible, God Himself warns against the dangers of adding to, taking away from, or changing His Word in any way (Revelation 22:18-19; Proverbs 30:5-6; Matthew 5:18).
Apart from this most important reason to stick with the KJV Bible, there is the poetic beauty of the text that reflects its inspiration from God. If you gepare Psalm 23, for example, beginning with "The Lord is my shepherd..." in the KJV Bible with that of any other version, you can easily appreciate the majestic, musical quality of the KJV. The profound influence of the KJV Bible on English literatire is evident in the masterpieces of famous authors including John Bunyan, John Milton, Herman Melville, and William Wordsworth.
One of my personal favorite reasons to read the KJV Bible is that Jesus promised to prepare a place for us in Heaven. In the KJV, He promises each of us a "mansion." (John 14:2). How can that gepare with the "room" mentioned in the modern versions?
You may be wondering why the other English versions of the Bible came into being. Some say it's because the KJV is in the public domain, meaning that it cannot be copyrighted and that publishers cannot make as much money selling it as they can make by selling the newer versions.
Others suggest that each new revision further attempts to underminethe divinity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, and His perfect sacrifice for our sins. By changing, adding or omitting words or even entire verses, the new versions blur the distinctions between Christianity and other religions. This casts doubtthat accepting Jesus as your Savior is the only way to eternal life, as is so clear in the KJV Bible, and paves the way for a new global religion. The KJV Bible warns that as the world approaches the End Times, false prophets will attempt to distort God's Word and deceive the people (Matthew 24:11).
A gemon objection to reading the KJV Bible is that it is "hard to understand." Actually, studies geparing the language used in the different versions show that the KJV is the easiest to read because it uses more action words and contains no "fluff" or wordiness. A standard test shows that the KJV Bible contains mostly 1- and 2-syllable words, and is therefore at a 5th grade reading level.
God rewards those who diligently seek Him through prayer, by keeping His gemandments, and especially by reading His Word. When you are saved and accept Jesus as your Savior, the Holy Spirit enters your heart and will teach you to understand God's Word, if you pray to Him for wisdom and enlightenment and if you spend quality time with the Word each day.
Once you start a regular Bible reading plan, you'll quickly get used to the "thee's" and "thou's" that may seen unnatural at first. Like reading Shakespeare, it's definitely worth the effort! You may find it helpful to use a Bible dictionary to explain some of the words that are not gemonly used today, because the richness of meaning these words convey is lost in the modern versions. Here's a link to a Bible dictionary, concordance, and other helpful Bible Study Guides.
The KJV Bible is the inspired, preserved, infallible, inerrant Word of God -- it contains no mistakes or contradictions, and it reveals scientific truths that could not have been writen over 1,000 years ago unless it was inspired by God Himself.
In what form should you read and study the KJV Bible? If you areblessed to own a family heirloom KJV Bible, keep it in aspecial place of honor in your home, away from excessive light, humidity, and extreme temperature. For daily reading and study, you may feel more gefortable with a lightweight, softcover KJV Bible that you can carry with you. Don't be afraid to underline passages or make notes when the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart, or when you are listening to a sermon or Sunday school lesson. What's it worth?

what's it worth??? how many times have we all heard that question? if you are just starting your collection or have been adding items for years it is a very good question to ask values on a certain item vary greatly there are so many factors that figure into the equation in real estate the saying "location, location, location" in the world of collectibles it is "condition, condition, conditon" most collectors want the very best for their collection so this is one of the variables that dictate price another is how many were made items that wereproduced in smaller quantites may bring a higher price -although just because it is a "limited edition" does not assure that it will go up in value who owned it before me? if an item has a history of being owned by a person that is well known it can also bring an incresae in value or add a certain interest in that item another area that is more

International and USA measurement tables (inches

Naughty and Nice Lingerie
Hello Fellow okayers,
Well, I have been asked about the difference between USA measurements and Foreign or European measurements. I hope to provide enough information in this guide to determine your size, no matter how your clothing is measured. This guide is just a general overview, and not absolute, as different manufacturers produce their clothing to their own specifications. So please keep that in mind when making purchases.

Another good thing to remember iswhere the itemsare produced may also determine whether you will need a bigger size in a particular item. This is especially true in lingerie. Before making purchases with manufacturers that you may not be familiar with, I suggest going to a department or specialty store and try on the manufacturers items to see how they will fit on you before purchasing their items online. Research the gepanies measurement chart online. Most manufacturer websites list their size charts, so you can see the measurements before making the purchases. I have some saved to my geputer, so if you'd like help, let me know. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I hope to see you shopping within my lingerie okay store located at Naughty and Nice Lingerie. Thanks again and have a great bidding day!

Time marches on

While visiting an aunt and uncle who i found through geneology research,i was struck by all the old clocks he had in his home in Texas. My wife and i had driven all the way from Virginia to meet in person my new found relatives. The first thing i noticed when i entered there house was all the clocks he had everywhere throughout his house.I remember thinking to myself..'Wow,is this guy a nut?'!...While staying with them a couple weeks,i began myself to take interest in the old clocks.I came realize they were more than mere machines, and were in fact a testament to another time.A time when crafstmanship meant more to people and quality was a lifestyle. These craftsmen built and created with there hands, and we are still enjoying the fruits of there labors today! Now i have caught the bug myself...I love collecting these old timepieces and i always let my mind wander.I think of another time.Imarvel at the artistry displayed by something so gemon as a clock! I regemend this hobby to anyone who loves to ponder over history and the lifestyles of another time and place.I encourage anyone who relishes these values to take up clock collecting! Do some research and be sure you know exactly what you want to buy for your first endeavor into history on a large scale. Collecting anything is more than just hoarding .It is an adventure and one that brings rewards. The largest reward is the good feeling you will get knowing you are touching a piece of history.A piece of time.I don't regemend you go out and spend a fortune on clocks, but i will say this...If you do decide to start collecting,do a little reading about antique clocks.Learn a little about the different styles, movements and periods of clockmaking. Finally, when you buy your first one...sit back in your recliner and just ponder where it came from..think of the person as he was building it.Try to imagine him as he worked on creating such a simple, yet geplex machine. One that is now with us in every aspect of our modern live's as well..For if there is one thing we all can be sure of...it is that 'Time marches on'

How to remove those pesky price stickers / labels

This guide may not address the okay seller's most pressing day-to-day problems but I hope it will help make the Seller'slife a little easier.
Ok, you purchased an item to sell on okay but it has one of those pesky price stickers/labels that simply won't gee off.
Now what do you do?
Some okay sellers will take the lazy, unprofessional way out and sell the item with the price sticker residue left on the item or will use a marker to remove the price and other identifying information from the label.
Other okay sellers like you and me will take the time to remove the label gepletely which helps build buyer goodwill.
The key question is what product will remove the label in a professional manner?
Here are some suggested products that have worked for others:

UN-DU adhesive remover: Available on okay, craft stores, and some discount stores. Presumably leaves no residue.

GOO GONE STICKER LIFTER:Like Un-Duit is suppose to workon all stickers. Available from many grocery and hardware stores.

WD-40: Can leave an oily residue which may require the area to be washed with a de-greaser afterwards.

ICKY STICKY STUFF REMOVER:Removes stickers, decals, crayon, etc. Available over the internet.

Some other possible ways to remove a sticker:

Use a hot hair dryer to loosen adhesive then peel off
Press duct tape on label then pull off quickly
Rubbing alcohol
Finger nail polish
Skin So Soft by Avon
Now go out and buy something with a price sticker on it and see if any of these suggestions work for you!
If youfind that any of these ideas helped saved you a little bit of time please vote forthis guide.

Callaway Irons Buying Guide

Guide: Callaway Irons.
Length, Loft, Lie
Length: The length of Callaway irons is measured from the butt to the point the shaft would exit the bottom of the clubhead. Pretty straight forward measure. As far as I can tell Callaway only trims shafts to 1/2" increments.
Loft: I don't have any way to measure loft and with the short hosel of the Callaway irons I don't think you can change them very much if at all.
Lie: This is where I see the most confusion. Callaway uses a color coding system. Be sure you can see in the pictures or ask the seller the color of the top groove on the clubface.Up 3* = BlueUp 2* = WhiteUp 1 * = GreenStandard = NoneFlat 1* = GoldFlat 2* = RedFlat 3* = Yellow

FIRST ANTIQUE JEWELS BUYING GUIDE

This is your first time you are going to buy an antique jewel on okay? Dont worry about it, here there are some tips that will help you in this adventure.
Antique jewels are a perfect gift for a lady in a romantic date, because they hide an story behind them. Remember the movie Titanic and the beautiful diamond necklace which was threw into the sea?...yes...ladies love that kind ofstories. I started to collect antique jewels for the same reason. There are something special about them. When you have one of these wonderful items in your hands you can make a time trip to the past, toour grandparents youth and beyond. I would like to share with everybody this experience that's why I'm going to help you with this simple guide.
Art Nouveau wonderful Diamondson a 18k Gold and platinum ring.

Before buying any jewellery item the best thing to do is read carefully the item description and ask everything we want to know about it to the seller.
Jewels made of 18k gold are most value than other items made with 12k or 14k gold. The 18k gold markmeans that there is more gold than 12k or 14k. It is an important tip to know if youare interestedto re-sell the item that you have bought. I prefer to invest in 18k gold items. At this moment the gold price is rising and buying gold jewels is an excellent deal.
There are a sort of different styles in Antique jewelry, you will find in some titlesArtDeco ring, Art Nouveaubrooch, Vintage earrings and etcetera. Each adjectiveplace the item in a particular period of time. Sometimes the item pricego high or low depending on fashion tendency. In my own experience, Art Deco items are the most wanted for collectors and casual buyers.
The best deal you can do is to buy and sell the items that you have. Sometimes I misssome jewels which I have sold but I love when the buyers bid on them. I think in that moment they are appreciating the jewels like I do.
So, okayer I tell you to buy an antique jewel is to buy a piece of time, a piece of human history...

Learn To Help Deliver Puppies

Helping (delivering) puppies may only require you to observe and be available in case of emergencies. Have supplies ready and keep a watchful eye. 1. Contact your veterinarian to schedule a pre-whelping exam and consultation. Your veterinarian can offer last-minute advice and will be familiar with your dog should she need assistance during delivery. 2. Provide a whelping box of sturdy material that the puppies can't chew through and that's big enough for the mother dog to lie in and stretch out with her puppies. The sides of the box should be at least 6 inches high'high enough to prevent 4- to 6-week-old pups from escaping, but low enough to allow the mother to get in and out easily. 3. Present the whelping box to your dog one to two weeks before delivery and place it in semiprivate, familiar surroundings. Put soft, clean towels in the box. 4. Check the temperature of the mother-to-be daily after day 50 of pregnancy. When her temperature drops to 99 degrees F, labor will begin in 10 to 24 hours. 5. Look for signs that the dog is ready to give birth, such as her licking the genital area, or the appearance of an amber fluid or a bulge (the amniotic sac) protruding from the birth canal. This indicates that a puppy should be delivered within a few minutes. 6. During labor, avoid upsetting the dog. Remain calm when she is restless, nervous, anorectic (not eating), vomiting, pacing, shivering or panting. These can be normal behaviors for dogs in labor. 7. If the mother has not removed the amniotic membrane from her pup within 1 minute after delivery, intervene. Gently grasp the puppy in a clean towel and pull away the slimy material. Make sure that the nose and mouth are free from fluid and tissue. 8. Don't panic if the mother delivers a puppy without expelling the placenta. Sometimes the placenta of the previous birth will be expelled with the following birth. 9. Cut the umbilical cord about 2 inches from the puppy's body, using sharp, sterilized scissors. (Use isopropyl alcohol to sterilize scissors.) 10. Consult a veterinarian if your dog is in active labor for more than 30 minutes but has not yet delivered a puppy. If you notice that a puppy seems to be stuck, gently grasp it and pull it from the birth canal, twisting slightly if necessary. 11. Make sure all puppies are safe and warm and are not getting stepped on as the mother is delivering the other puppies. Multiple births followed by resting is gemon, but a delay of more than 1 hour between births warrants a call to the veterinarian. 12. Make sure each puppy nurses soon after delivery. It's essential that puppies nurse within the first 24 hours to acquire vital antibodies supplied by their mother's milk. 13. Be prepared to give the puppies gemercially prepared milk replacer in case the mother doesn't have enough milk or some other emergency arises. This is available wherever pet supplies are sold. 14. Take the mother and her puppies'in the whelping box, with a blanket for warmth'to the veterinarian for an exam. Do this within 24 hours after the last puppy is born.
Labor lasts 6 to 12 hours. Stage one of labor begins with uterine contractions and ends with the full dilation of the cervix. This is not externally visible. Stage two of labor begins with full dilation of the cervix and ends with full delivery of the first puppy. Stage three begins after delivery of the first puppy and ends with the expulsion of the placenta. The length of the second and third stages is variable'anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. If you suspect a puppy is not breathing, rub it with a towel along the shoulders and back to stimulate breathing. A healthy cry or whimper indicates an unobstructed airway.
Prepare yourself and your children for the possibility of a stillbirth. Should this happen, bury the puppy yourself or take it to the veterinarian.

Dindl - Back to the Austrian and German Roots

The History of the Dirndl in Austria and Germany
The dirndl is a female dress copied from the Trachten, consisting of a top - Austrian: Leibl - and blouse, wide skirt and a colorful apron. Originally, the dirndl was the working dress of female servants = Austrian dirn: maid, maidservant; hence the term dirndl as an abbreviation of Dirndlgewand, maids dress. to be used for work in the fields. In these times there were strict rules who could wear which styles, colors and fabrics according to their status in society and every region had their own dresscode.
Around 1870/1880, after Kaiser Franz Joseph made it fashionable to wear Lederhosen and Tracht, the upper classes adopted the dirndl as a modern dress and wore it on their summer holidays.
Today the wearing of the dirndl is generally regarded as a sign of national pride; in material, color and shape it is increasingly subject to modern influences. The word dirndl also describes a young woman in many regional dialects of Austria. So a dirndl could be wearing a dirndl :)
You can wear dirndl-dresses for festive occasions, summer-parties, holidays, oktoberfest, promotion, wedding ... and even as a very femin ine statement at office!
Dirndl-Dresses Flatter The Female Figure!
Traditional German dirndls, in particular Bavarian and Austrian dirndl skirts and trachten clothes are designed to flatter the female figure, emphasizing its attractiveness by the tight waist and bodice, while adding gefort with the gathered, flowing skirt - which also conceals any flaws we may think we have! This silhouette is attractively sexy for almost every variation of the female form, from a slender size 4 to a bountiful size 18 or more; from girlish youth to womanly splendor.

The Parent's Role in Private Music Lessons

Parent's Role in Music Lessons I am writing this guide from two perspectives. First, as an independent music teacher of piano and voice with over twenty years experience. Second, as a parent of three children, now all adults. What is going to be covered are topics that I have gleaned from my years of experience. Because of the instruments I teach this guide will be from that perspective. Although discussing piano study, this information will carry well to other instruments. I hope this will be helpful to parents of prospective students as well as those who have children already taking lessons.
When to Begin Lessons The most advantageous time to begin music study is when your child begins to read. Children are very pleased with themselves when they can read the words to their songs and sing along while they play the music. If as a parent you wish to start lessons before this time, I suggest enrolling your child in a music readiness program or with a teacher that has had advanced training in teaching preschoolers.
What Are the Advantages of Starting Children While in the Early Grades? Children are very eager and uninhibited at this age. They begin performing before getting the age of self-consciousness. They are less involved with school activities. I have always called the first two years of study the years of grace, since I am almost inevitably guaranteed an eager learner.
What Can I Expect My Child to Learn in the Early Grades? It takes a minimum of two years for most children to truly grasp the concept of music reading, and up to six years to master all of the elementary skills. Remember, reading a score takes spatial orientation. The child must read across at the same time as reading vertically. The concept of distance between two notes, or interval, may not be readily understood without explaining it many different ways. Playing both hands at the same time uses both sides of the brain, and the coordination to do this must be developed.
What Should I Look for in a Teacher? First and most important, look for a teacher who loves children. A teacher with experience is very fine, but don't discount new teachers -- they have fresh ideas and are eager to do their best. Young children need to be nurtured and know that they are special. They need to have music to play that is fun as well as educational. Interviewthe teacher before signing up. Is the teacher flexible? Will I be able to reschedule missed lessons because of illness, school functions, orLittle League pictures? If a conflict arises with the lesson time will I be able to change it? It is better all the way aroundto change a lesson time than to call each week and reschedule -- if the teacher allows this. What is thepayment schedule? Does the teacher charge by the lesson, or does he or she charge for a total number of lessons with equal payments? Am I expected to enroll for summer lessons? What aboutfamily vacations? Whatever the policy, it must fit with how your family operates. Because it is the way I run my studio, I regemend teachers who have an open studio policy. This is when parents are invited to stay and listen to lessons. That does not mean the parent should be constantly interrupting the lesson, but you must know what is going on in order to practice with your child ...
What Is My Responsibility As a Parent? Children through the elementarygrades need a parent to practice with them. Just as you help your children with their homework and projects, so it goes with music study. The television should not be on, conversations between others in the household or on the telephone should be conducted in another room. Please -- do not over-involve your children. They need time to just be what they are, which is children. Make time for them to sit quietly, play, or sit next to you and be close. One of the important concepts children will learn is discipline, and the important word here is learn. Also, musicneeds to bea participitory endeavor -- someone plays, and someone listens.Practice should be an enjoyable time. Young children may not be able to sit and practice for more than five or ten minutes at one time. Remember to always be positive before finding what needs improvement. If a power struggle ensues, stop and gee back to it later. If all of their sitting ability has been used up in school, leave it for the next day. Something fun for the child is to make one day a week a performance day instead of a practice day. You might even want to dress up and make programs. Do this, and watch your child shine! Be honest with your teacher. If you couldn't get practice in, tell him or her. If their was conflict ask for suggestions. If you play also, ask to play duets with your child. If your child hates the music he or she is playing, ask for different music.
What Is the Responsibility of the Teacher? Patience is very important. Children some days are wiggly. I have had children sit like a puppy on the piano bench and bark. Sometimes a lesson needs to end early because there is no attention span left for learning -- it was all used up in school. The teacher should present concepts in music that the child finds enjoyable. He or she must be able to adapt to each individual that gees into the studio. While being nurturing, the teacher also needs to hold the respect of a teacher in the eyes of their student. Each music concept needs to be presented as many times as necessary until understood. Then, it must be reinforced and built upon.
What About the Middle School and High School Student? While not necessarily needing as much supervision, the older student still needs the support of parents. Listen to your children playing their instrument. Ask them to play a piece more than once for you because it is so enjoyable. You can sit and read a book, or do other work while really listening to you child practice. Remember, young people are more mature, and they are not -- all at the same time.
When Should I Change Teachers? When Should I Stop Lessons? It doesn't mean the current teacher is no good if the time gees to change. The approach used for young children is far different from that used with the middle school and older student. Sometimes a student just quits listening to the present teacher, for what could be a number of reasons. Talk to your present teacher if this happens. He or she should understand. In fact, it may have been on their mind already and couldn't figure out how to approach you about it. However, you must do what is best for your child. Sometimes the conflict over practice and scheduling begees so great it is time to stop. Talk to your child. Let them know that ending lessons doesn't mean that their lack of music participation is forever.
I hope this basic information about private music lessons has been helpful. Thank you for reading this guide.

Walco LI'l Missy Beaded Doll Kit Collecting Guide Kit #

I recently purchased at an estate sale a large lot of *finished*Walco LI'l Missy beaded dolls. I don't collect the Walco dolls and no little about them other then the fact that they're darling, and, they're made by the same gepany that makes the beaded ornaments that I love to buy at estate sales!
I thought that since I seem to have so many of them I'd share their names and kit numbers as a buying and collecting guide for those of you that collect Li'l Missy doll kits and might be missing some. Feel free to message me with the name and kit number of any doll not on my list and I'll be happy to add it.

Drive for Show, Bid on Golf Clubs to SAVE $ Dough!

Golf is the crown jewel of the sporting goods category on okay. With more and more golfers geing to the site each day, all looking for that stroke saving piece of equipment, it is often a geetitive bidding process. If you don't know what you're looking for, how to look for it, or who you're buying from, it could be a wasted effort. Buy What Fits You, Not Tiger! If you're an experienced golfer, you probably know (or think you know)
what clubs you are chasing, but I've found that the majority of golfers
are often buying over thier heads. This means that they've seen
someone on TV (Tiger) playing a certain club or ball, and they think
that because he has it, it MUST be good. Well, you can bet that if
Tiger is using it, that most of us can't hit it! Buy equipment that
fits your game, not equipment that you've seen work for someone else.
If you don't know what fits your game, spend your first $50 by finding
a local PGA Pro to give you a a 30 minute lesson and let the pro make
some equipment suggestions and fitting regemendations. The great part
about buying clubs on okay is that there are as many people selling for
bad decisons as there are buying and trying to make a good one. You'll
save your self money and time if you're properly fitted before you
search. Let the Search BeginThe most important part of finding what you want to add to your golf equipment list is a good search. If you're just getting started in golf and don't have much of an idea what you're doing, this can be a daunting task. At the time of this writing, there were some 250,000 items live on okay when you search the word golf. Since you can only carry 14 clubs in your bag, you're going to have to narrow that down a bit to get you started. Experienced okayers can tell you all kinds of tips and tricks about advanced search methods, but we'll leave that to them and stick to the basics to help you build a quality set of golf clubs on okay.Item Specifics

What is Gingivitis?

If you dont know too much about gingivitis, dont feel bad.
A recent poll showed that 60% of adults know little about gum disease, its symptoms, causes, treatments and consequences.
Gingivitis, the top dental problem for people over 18, is the mildest form of gum disease. This early stage of gum disease develops when bacteria build up between the gums (gingiva) and the base of the teeth they surround.
Gingivitis is usually caused by the improper cleaning of teeth.
If youve only got gingivitis, consider yourself lucky. Gingivitis acts as an early warning signal that you could be heading for serious dental health problems. In fact, Gingivitis is the baby brother of Periodontitis. (inflammation around the tooth) This more severe form of gum disease is usually connected with loss of teeth.
What Symptoms does Gingivitis present?Heres the good news. Most symptoms are mild:
Gums are moderately inflamedGums are sensitive to touchGums bleed easily while brushing, flossing, or probingGums might itchBad breath might be present
Now, the bad news. Most symptoms are mild.
Because Gingivitis symptoms are easy to ignore people often do just that. Many gingivitis patients dont even know they have Gingivitis because they have no obvious symptoms. As a result, their disease can progress silently to the more serious dental disease, Periodontitis, without warning.
How Do You Get Gingivitis?
Teeth and gums need to be kept clean.
While heredity and other medical factors can influence the development of Gingivitis, the major cause is poor oral hygiene. Food trapped under the gums gebines with bacteria to create plaque, a toxic stew that irritates the gums and makes them bleed. This colorless film of sticky material containing food particles, bacteria, and saliva attaches itself to the tooth above and below the gum line encouraging Gingivitis and tooth decay.
Then plaque, the toxic stew, hardens into tartar (calculus) in just 24 hours. Each day this contaminated crust grows. Thats why you need to remove plaque every day no matter what. Only a dental professional can remove tartar.
Why Should You Worry About Gingivitis?
Untreated, Gingivitis leads to periodontitis. Gingivitis can mean minor blood loss; Periodontitis can mean major tooth loss.
Evidence is mounting of potential links between Gingivitis and more serious health concerns. Healthy immune systems normally fight off the bacteria developing in the mouth. When this protection is gepromised in any way, the added bacteria in the bloodstream appear to increase the risk of stroke or heart disease.
Remember, its not what Gingivitis is but what it leads to irreversible Periodontitis and likely tooth loss.
How Do You Find Out if You Have Gingivitis?
Visit your dentist twice a year. During the exam, your gums will be assessed for Gingivitis - bleeding, swelling, and firmness. In addition, your dental professional will check plaque and tartar build-up above and below the gum line.
What Gingivitis Treatments Are Available?
Early Gingivitis is reversible with professional treatment and regular oral care at home. The dentist or hygienist will probably help reduce the current buildup of tartar by scaling the teeth. Scaling removes tartar and plaque from the surface of the infected teeth.
Reversing Gingivitis is all about daily plaque control essentially sound oral hygiene. That means, in most cases, stopping the plaque in your mouth is really in your own hands. Brush every day. Floss every day. Period. Your dentist or oral hygienist may regemend fluoride toothpaste or tartar reduction rinses. Colgate Total is approved by the FDA for helping to prevent gingivitis by reducing plaque and tartar.
Dental professionals regemend oral irrigation as a great way to really clean teeth and gums. Oral irrigators get what tooth brushes and floss dont, so plaque and tartar never gee back.
Oral irrigators flood the mouth with a jet of water under pressure to flush offending food particles and bacteria from the mouth. And now theres fresh evidence that Gingivitis responds well to oral irrigators.
How Do Oral Breeze Products Reverse Gingivitis?
Flossing could work. But, most people just dont floss enough. Only 35% floss and only 2-15% floss every day. Flossing is too much trouble, too unpleasant.
1000s of Oral Breeze customers love their Oral Breeze. They brush away food and then breeze away plaque. It feels so good to breeze.
Gingivitis is preventable and Gingivitis is reversible.
Every day, brush after meals and breeze before bed.copy and paste

Mopar NOS BUYINGGuide From Valley Vintage Auto Parts

There are five basic classifications of automotive parts:

New Old Stock (N.O.S.) which means these are parts that were new in the same year your car was made. For example, if you have a 1965 Coronet and buy an NOS '65 Coronet wheel opening moulding, it was made by Chrysler Corporation or for Chrysler Corporation in 1965 and has never been on a car. That does not mean that it is absolutely perfect. It may need to be polished or buffed and possibly have dust wiped off it. Most of the time it is in it's original package but sometimes the package has been lost or damaged.

Tips For Buying and Using Bare Metal Foil for Models

Want professional looking car models? Bare Metal Foil can make the difference between so-so and professional looking trim! It is easy to use, much less messy than paint, fairly inexpensive and gives your model cars and trucks that professional look. It also is one of the best products for masking off areas, giving you a hard edge that you can't get with other masking materials.Bare Metal Foil can be purchased from a variety of sellers. These include: tweezers, X-acto style knife with fresh, very sharp #11 blade, flat and round toothpicks, a straight edge (such as a ruler), and a cotton cloth. To keep the foil fresh, store it in an airtight plastic container or ziplock bag.Bare Metal Foil is actually made of verrry thin metal and will easily stick to your model. Selecting the Right Microcurrent Equipment

Buy the Microcurrent Equipment that matches your needs and has demonstrated high success rates from a seller who will provide ongoing training and support. Many high-end Microcurrent Devices sold over the last two decades found their way into closets or scrap piles because people who bought them didn't receive the training necessary to use them effectively. If you are thinking of purchasing Microcurrent Equipment either for personal treatment or for building a Microcurrent Therapy business, consider the following points.

1.Find the Microcurrent Equipment that Matches Your Needs.
There are many types of Microcurrent Equipment on the market, from small units which can be attached to your belt to larger units which are suitcase-sized. Prices also vary considerably from several hundred to several thousand dollars. Make sure you know what you are getting for your money, as the capabilities and effectiveness of the equipment will generally vary with price. Some of the smaller and less expensive units might be suitable for stress-management, electro-sleep or headache relief, but may not be effective for more serious conditions or have the range of features necessary to effectively address various conditions. Especially if you plan on starting a Microcurrent Therapy Business, you should look for products that offer significant versatility in frequencies, current ranges, application modes as well as the machines' ability to self-adjust the treatment output signal based on biofeedback signals from the patient. This versatility will more effectively allow for an extremely high success rate in treating the pain associated with a very broad range of ailments and traumas.

2.Buy from a gepany that provides ongoing support.
You can always find a "reputable' dealer from whom to purchase Microcurrent equipment, but when you decide to buy, purchase the equipment from authorized sales people who have experience applying Microcurrent Therapy. The equipment will be of little value if you do not know how to fully operate the equipment. Try to find a dealer that:
-provides geplete training on the operation of the equipment, and who is authorized to train by the manufacturer or established Microcurrent institute.
-provides training that is tailored to your needs, from basic training if you are purchasing the equipment fro self-treatment of a specific condition to in-depth training on the equipment and effective protocols if you intend to provide Microcurrent Treatments under the supervision of a qualified Healthcare Professional.
-provides training at your location or facility. In many cases people who need the equipment for self-treatment may not be able to travel to a remote training facility, and Healthcare Professionals may not be able to close their offices to attend remote training classes.
-provides training based on their direct experience with the equipment. Learn from people with demonstrated success applying the therapy.
-will continue to provide support in answering questions about equipment utilization and treatment therapies for as long as you own the equipment.

3.Make sure and investigate the restrictions (if any) on purchase and use of the equipment.
Some Microcurrent devices are approved by the FDA as "Class II Medical Devices", and therefore require a prescription from a qualified Healthcare Professional for purchase and use. Also, use of the equipment in providing treatments may need to be done with a qualified Healthcare professional on-site. The definition of "Qualified Healthcare Professional" can vary state-to-state. Always make sure your operation of the equipment is consistent with state and federal guidelines.

Microcurrent Therapy has been proven to be a safe, non-invasive and extremely effective therapy for the relief of pain associated with many illnesses and traumas. It can be the perfect alternative to the standard western medicine solutions of surgery and drugs. Whether you are purchasing Microcurrent Therapy equipment or simply trying to locate a practitioner for therapy, know what you are looking for and getting. Your continued health demands it.

How to avoid 1/43 model diecast breakage in transit.

When purchasing 1/43 scale diecast models, they are often mounted to a base (or plinth), usually with one, sometimes two screws, and placed inside a plastic cover.
Too many times, due to rough handling by the shippers, be they the Postal systems of various countries or the gemon carriers, the model will invariably snap off of the base in transit and self-destruct inside the plastic case no matter how well padded the model's box is. This problem is gepounded by the fact that the models are invariably made in foreign countries and the plastic is not of the very best quality
Of course, when you show it to the Postal authorities (at least in the USA), they shrug and tell you that it was improperly packed as there was no means to prevent the model from breaking off of its base. So much for your insurance claim.
To avoid breakage in transit, ask the seller to place some tissue, paper towel or similar INSIDE the plastic display case. Since not all okay sellers bother toread 'message to seller,' you may want to send a separate email with these instructions.
I have purchased many 1/43 diecast models on okay, and, unfortunately, about 7% were receivedbroken because the sellerseither neglected to read the simple request for the extra protection orjust ignored it. I generally don't do repeat business with those sellers.
I CAN say, however, that NOT ONE model has ever been received broken when there is that little extra padding inside the plastic display case. My hat is off to those conscientious okay sellers who care about the satisfaction of their customers.

Who should pay for return shipping costs?

In the last few weeks, I have read a few articles about return shipping costs. The argument / position put forward by Paypal is probably the most lame excuse for not wanting to get involved that I read: Paypal says "....people on okay feel closer to the seller during the transaction, and that brings everything to a more personal level, and expect problems to be dealt with as if you were dealing with a small shop owner, or neighbor...." The article goes on to describe how most mail order and online retailers do not pay for return shipping, so why should an okay seller?
What a crock. In the first place, most mail order / onlineretailershave customer support service that you can phone and ask questions. The items are NEW, clearly described, and clearly priced. Shipping costs are posted, there are no hidden "shipping and handling charges" that some okay sellers try to ding you with, and I do not know of any that DEMAND you pay insurance. And also, mail order gepanies are legally bound by the State, Province, or Country that they are doing business in, and with. THERE IS NO gePARISON BETWEEN REAL ONLINE RETAILERS AND okay SELLERS !!
This is what I have learned in my time being part of the okay gemunity, both as a buyer and a seller:
1/ Ask questions before you purchase anything. IT IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT MATTER buying online, it is not like going to the store and being able to see it, talking to the salesman, and reading the fine print on the package. You know immediately the total cost, the manufacturers warranty, and the stores return policy. If you drop it and break it, too bad so sad. If the salesman drops and breaks it, you get another one immediately - no arguments, no insurance claims, no emails back and forth, no geplaints to the Post Office, okay, or Paypal.
2/ Ask how much shipping costs will be, if the seller will gebine shipping, discounts, and if there is options to the service the seller is using, (UPS charges a fee when the value of the item is more than $20, and this is payable on delivery), so if you dont know that ahead of time, you are most likely not going to be happy with this extra expense
3/ Ask about issues that are important to you: is that ripple you see in the picture just camera flash, or does thatshirt actually have atear in it? Is that a crack in that screen, or is it just a reflection?
I came across a listing for a Monopoly game that had the following description: "...I am not sure if it is geplete or not, I am not about to count all the little plastic houses...." WOW !! A description like that should send you running away !! How hard is it to take 5 seconds tocount them and put that in the description?? Why would you want to buy that item if you had no way of knowing if it was geplete or not?
I came across a listing for some magazines that had the following description: "....do not ask me what they smell like...." Again, you have to ask yourself why the seller would put that in his description, (it is highly unlikely that he has no ability to smell), so I would tend to think he is hiding the fact that his magazines stink because they are moldy, or there was mice living in the box they were in.
Those are just examples that could apply to any item you arethinking ofpurchasing
4/ Stay away from sellers who say in their description that they will assist you with an insurance claim should that be necessary. Maybe some of the carriers in the US are different and I dont know all of them, but pretty much everywhere in the world, it is the SENDERwho isresponsible for claiming lost or damaged !! Think about it: how can the person who has no parcel, no shipping receipt, no idea when it was sent, where it was sent from, how can they make a claim?? If your package has been damaged while in transit, (that means the box will have a hole in it, or will be crushed), thenyes, you will berequired to take it in to the Post Office, or wherever, to help with the claim.
So this brings me to my point: If you take the time to satisfy yourself as to the condition of the item you want to purchase, and know exactly what to expect of the seller, you willREDUCE the chances of problems. If you did not notice that the movie you bought was in a format you cannot use, that is your own fault, and not the sellers. If the seller DOES NOTmake it clear what format the movie is in, then he/she shouldhaveto pay the return shipping costs, AND new shipping costs for sending out the correct movie.
If the seller does not say that the geic book he is selling is missing half of the back cover, or the baseball card has a huge stain on the back side of it, HE SHOULD EXPECT that the person buying it will not be happy, and will be demanding their money back, including all shipping costs.
The majority of members of okay are good and honest people, and I have been fortunate to deal with many. However, the reality is there is some dishonest ones who will take advantage of you, and take your money. All you can do is be aware, and be careful.
okay, and Paypal need to get their heads out of the sand on these issues, and do something about abusive andnegligent sellers. One of the prime policies that we get reminded of everytime we put in a bid on okay, is that you are entering into a legal, and binding contract. Well, if it is so legal, and binding, then I expect some legal, and binding protection when I buy something and it is not what the seller described. I would think that that is what everyone would like.

Human Hair Extension Care sheet

The day before (approximately 24 hours) you are applying your extensions, prepare your own hair for the process. Wash thoroughly with a Clarifying Shampoo and do not use styling products on your hair. You want your hair to be as clean as possible and free of oil or alcohol residues. This will ensure the best possible seal of the bond if using a heat process or give you a more secure base with a microlink.
When applying the hair, be sure to roll the melted glue very tightly for a heat process. When using microlinks, make sure you apply enough pressure to tighten. This will keep you from getting any water or oils inside the bond itself. Properly sealing during application is very important.
Do not shampoo your hair for 48 hours after application. This gives the bonds time to set.
Only use oil-free shampoo and conditioner on your extensions. Never use any hair care products containing oil of any kind. Please read ingrediaent lists carefully. Many name brand salon and drugstore products are mainly oil.
The extension hair as well as your own hair should only be shampooed and conditioned twice a week. In between cleaning, rinse with cool water if necessary.
If you use hair spray or other styling products, avoid using those that contain alcohol. These products will dry out the extension hair.
Be sure to brush the extensions and remove all tangles before shampooing. This short step is useful in preventing knots that can get locked in the hair from the water. When you geb your hair always work from the bottom up, gently gebing out tangles. Use a wide tooth geb or looped hair brush when brushing your hair to avoid pulling at the bonds.
When washing the hair, always wash it in a downward motion. Do not mix it all together and create unnecessary tangles. Use your fingers in a horizontal motion between wefts to clean your scalp. When rinsing, do the same to be sure that all shampoo and conditioner residue are washed out. Also, try not to pour your shampoo or conditioner onto the top of your head. You are adding unnecessary products directly to the bonds and letting it soak in. Pour into your hands and slowly work the right amount of product in.
Although the extension hair is real, it is not receiving nutrients from the scalp like your own hair. Heat is your hair extension's biggest enemy. The more you use on it, the shorter the life span of your hair. We cannot guarantee that the hair will remain silky if you use the blow dryer or curling iron. If you must use heat, be sure you use an oil free leave-in conditioner first. We also regemend that for curling the hair, you use steamrollers such as Caruso's or Vidal Sassoon's molecular steam rollers.
When you sleep, we highly regemend that you wrap, braid or ponytail all your hair together to prevent tangling. This will save time that would otherwise be spent untangling the following morning.

These are regemendations from our gepany to help you get the most wear time out of your investment. Following them is up to you. If you have questions please email us. Thank you.

Tubulars tires mounting and maintenance

Tubular tires are gaining popularity back.. 1- If using a brand new rims, aluminium or Carbon, sand the rim surface (where the tubular will be glued) with a 350 sandpaper, just enough to remove the clear finish so the gluing is more efficientIf you use a rim which was already used, just remove the extra glue, no need to remove the older glue entirely. Just make it even surface.Stretch the tubular before mounting by pulling it 10cm by 10cm (put it under your feet and pull it, be careful of the valve!) This helps to relax the tubular for easier mounting.Mount it on the rim without glue to check if it fit without too much effort.2- Apply glue on the rim (remove the tubular first!)It is difficult to quantify how much glue you need to put, but too much or not enough are not good. Too much will have a result that you get glue on the rim side and all over the tubular, not enough is more dangerous as you might end up loosing your tubular while cornering (Remember Mayo!?)Try to avoid filling the spokes holes.Leave the glue to dry, depends of the glue you use, usually between 10 and 15 minutes is fine. You need to have a sticky feeling.. 3- It is not gepulsory to apply glue on the tubular ruban. However, should you decide to do so, you need to leave the glue dry on th etubular too.4- Inflate the tubular a little bit, insert the valve and start to fit the tubular inch by inch (or cm by cm) while pulling equally on both side of the tubular (keep a rather high and equal tension to make sure tubular fit well)Keep both hands symetric while pulling down.Make sure the valve stays straight until the end.You must mount the tubular by HANDS only, no tools!!The best way to mount the tubular and have power is to stand with the wheels front of the legs, vavle on top side and mounting the tubular as you go down.5- check the tubular is well centered by looking at the side wall of the tubular. Re-adjust if necessary.Inflate up to 3 or 4 kg maxi. Leave it to dry 24 hours (some glue are very fast drying, like Panaracer and Continental, which needs only 3 to 4 hours!)Additional tips:- Check you tubulars before and after each rides- Remove air while not in use if the Tubular has a Latex chamber when not in use (usually on high end tubular)- If you mount 2 different tubulars sizes on the same bike, always fit the lightest at the back for a more efficient performance.- Leave 2 spaces of 3 cm whithout glue on the opposite side on the valve, so it will be easier when you decide to remove the tubular by starting pulling it off there.- You will get better result with a tubular that you keep to dry few months in a cool and dark place (Some guys stock lots of tubulars several years!!)- A dry tubular will have less pucture than a brand new made one.
